Willie Sagnol, the coach of the Georgia national team, attacked the referee after his team lost to the Spanish national team 4-1 in the quarter-finals of the European Nations Cup.

Sagnol said In his statements after the match: “We feel sad about the loss, but the team’s performance was great during the tournament. Football always gives you the opportunity to achieve things. We will try again.”

Regarding the offside in the equalizer for Spain, he said: “It is difficult to talk about that, but for me, Morata was offside in the first goal. I think it was a goal like this as well in the Netherlands-France match. VAR technology is great, but we do not use it well.”< /p>

He concluded: “We believed that we were able to beat Spain even though they are a great team. We were present throughout the match and scored a goal in a wonderful offensive position, if we had maintained our lead in the first half.” The second half would have been different. Rodri is a special player and in the end there is no debate about Spain’s advantage.”
